Immoral

Sunday 11 October 2009

Amazed and very disgusting. Is that really deeply damage the moral of Indonesian society? A chief of RT (ketua rukun tetangga) in Bogor molesting a 14-year-old child with baseless accusations, mobile phone and 1.3 million money thief. Very barbaric.

After beatings by people (twice), the boy treatment efforts were rejected by the hospitals because it was too severe (this is more barbaric). After the parent complaining to police and bring the referral paper, the hospital’s new willing to accept the boy. Unfortunately only briefly receive care, ill-fated boy died.

Of course, the moral damage occurs due to many factors. High cost of living due to economic pressures makes Indonesian people became very violent. Mentally not prepared for the invasion of cultural globalization exacerbates this part.

__________

chronological (more at Media Indonesia).

  1. Molest, twice.
  2. Rejected by hospitals and dead
  3. End, sue perpetrators beatings

I agree with you mr Suryaden. Education isn’t a significant factor in moral degradation. Indonesian people in the past are well known as familiar and kind, and they are don’t have any bachelor graduate.

I think the violences that frequently appear in our society is caused by multifaceted factors. They are not easily identified individually. However, the violences can be diminished (if not eliminated) if they can nurture the sensitive feelings towards others or they are aware that the violence can hit anybody including those who had committed violence to others, it’s only a matter of time!

Indeed, they are many factor about itu. But,

According to our cultural civilization in the past, Indonesian people are well known as nice and familiar. We know things called “Gotong Royong” and now, those thing are gone (except in the village). That’s why I always assume about moral damage it’s coming from unprepared mental because of globalization (as we can seen peoples in the city).
